Universal Translator

Language shouldn't be a barrier to community participation. The Universal Translator automatically translates articles, announcements, and event descriptions into your preferred language.

How it works

• Set your language — go to your profile settings and choose your preferred language. Content will be translated automatically when you view it.
• Two translation engines — Claude AI for high-quality translations that understand context, or Google Translate for speed. Your community admin chooses which engine to use.
• Cached for speed — translations are cached so you only wait once. Repeat views load instantly.
• Show Original — toggle to see the original content anytime. The translation indicator shows you when content has been translated.

What gets translated

Articles, announcements, and event descriptions are translated in this first release. Thread translations, course content, and chat messages are coming in future updates.
